Simon Wilby Offers a More Convenient Way of Charging Phones

Incorporating the use of solar power into our daily lives seems to be Simon Wilby’s personal mission. While many like-minded individuals have already taken up the same “green” cause, a lot of people are yet to realize the full value of using renewable, eco-friendly energy resources. He intends to ride the trend by infusing green solutions to common household items. The first project he came up with was The Smart One, the solar-powered battery, which hit the market in early 2009.

The Smart One is an invention that redefines the way we use our mobile phones. With it, constantly drained batteries have become a thing of the past as it offers a completely new and reliable way of energizing mobile phone batteries.

Simon Wilby’s invention depends on renewable solar energy. Where there is light, you are sure to have continuous battery life. It completely throws out the need for charging via wall sockets as it promotes the use of mostly all light sources, solar energy being the primary source.

In the near future, Simon Wilby plans to make his invention available to nearly all mobile phone users around the world. Thus in a way, he aims to revolutionize cell phone usage for 3 billion individuals whose daily lives and businesses depend on constantly charged cell phone batteries.
