The Smart One: Solar Energy Made Practical

Inventor Simon Wilby dispels all notions that solar powered gadgets are more political than practical. His invention, The Smart One, launched in Barbados late in 2008 is an extremely useful gadget for anyone who owns a cellular phone.

The Smart One is an aftermarket product for cellular phones which effectively turns your cellular phone into a lean, green, solar powered machine. Simon Wilby designed The Smart One so it may be retrofitted to practically any mobile communication device in half a minute. The Smart One is so efficient at collecting and storing energy from available light sources that it will actually extend your cellular phone’s talk time by 300%.

Speaking to members of media, Simon Wilby claimed he has not had to charge his own cellular phone in the conventional way since installing The Smart One back in March several months earlier.
